Captain Cary grew up fishing the waters of the Pacific Northwest and turned his passion into a career as a full-time fishing guide. He founded CNH Sportfishing Charters to provide anglers of all skill levels — from first-timers to experienced sport fishers — with memorable, professional, and productive fishing experiences.
His expertise spans Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, Pink salmon, steelhead, Pacific halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. He guides on Puget Sound out of Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle, on Washington rivers including the Cowlitz, Snohomish, Satsop, and Wynoochee, and on the Washington coast out of Westport Marina.
Experience & Credentials
Captain Cary holds a valid USCG captain's license and operates a fully insured and Coast Guard-inspected charter vessel. His 32-foot Allied Liberator is the largest charter fishing boat on Puget Sound, with an enclosed cabin and full walkaround deck.
With 15+ years on the water and hundreds of successful guided trips, Captain Cary brings deep local knowledge of fish behavior, seasonal timing, tides, and the specific techniques that produce results in Pacific Northwest waters.
